To View the Parkin and Jackson Ltd website you must have Javascript enabled. We will explain how you can do this on your browser. Please click on the links below relating to your browser. The developer Gary Foster recomends you use Firefox for all Internet browsing but this is entirely at your discretion. All these instructions are correct as off 02 September 2009 in relation to browser versions available at this time.

Firefox Browser - Safari - Internet Explorer - Opera - Chrome.

Firefox.
To enable Javascript in Firefox clcik on the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen, then options.

This will bring up the following.

Click on the content tab, this will bring up the following.

Ensure the tick boxes next to "Enable Javascript" and "Enable Jave" are checked. Once this is done click on OK, Javascript will now be enabled.

Safari
To enable Javascript in Safari follow these simple instructions. When you first open Safari you will be presented with the following at the top of the page.

We need to edit the options, so if you click on the "Alt" button on your keyboard you will be presented with the following.

Click on the "Edit" tab, then preferences.

This will bring up the following.

Click on the Security tab , this will bring up the following.

You will see two statements, "Enable Java" and "Enable Javascript" ensure the two checkboxes next to these are checked. Once this is done you can close the window by clicking on the red X at the top right hand of the window.

Internet Explorer
Internet Explorer may prompt you to enable Active X plugins when you firts open it.

Click on this warning, this will bring up the following.

Allow the Blocked Content. If this does not remove the error message follow the instructions laid out below.

To Enable Javascript in Internet Explorer, when you first open Internet Explorer you will be presented with the following.

Press on the "Alt" button on your keyboard, this will bring up the following.

Click on the "Tools" link at the top of the page, then "Internet Options" this will bring up the following.

Click on the "Security" tab this will bring up the following.

Click on the "Custom level..." button this will bring up the following.

Scroll down the "Scripting".

Make sure the "Active Scripting" is enabled. Click on OK to close this window, then OK to exit Internet Explorer options.

Opera
If you are using Opera you can enable the Javascript bysing the following instructions.

At the top of the screen, click on the "Tools" link, then "Preferences".

This will bring up the following.

Click on the "Advanced" this will bring up the following.

Click on the "Content" link, this will bring up the following.

Ensure the checkboxes next to "Enable Javascript" and "Enable Java" have been checked as above. Click on OK and Javascript will be enabled.

Chrome
